Happy
New Year!

Caleph and Santa...

This picture made me sooo sad. My baby looks like a "little grown man" on Santa's lap. He said he still believed in Santa because this one had a real beard!

Happy 7th Birthday Caleph!

Today is my baby boy's 7th birthday. He is growing up way too fast! I think back seven years ago and how lucky we are to have him after everything that happened. He is a blessing! I stayed up late last night baking and decorating this cake for him. After school, we went to Fiesta Lindas to eat and his Mamaw Mary joined us. Happy Birthday...We love you, Mom & Dad

ROCK & ROLL BIRTHDAY PARTY...

Kilcrease Fall Festival

We went to The Kilcrease's, Bobby and Mrytle, Fall Festival. They had a lot of good food, music, decorations and scares. There was a maze we were suppose to go through at 7:30 pm, but after Caleph heard the chain saws...the maze was a "no go"! Caleph had plenty of friends from school to play with.

My "Soldier Boy"

How about my "soldier boy" for Halloween?
I was not totally lovin' this costume, but he did!

Pumpkin Carving

Caleph and I carved a bat pumpkin for Halloween. He had fun with all the cleaning and carving; but was very disappointed when it started growing mold! Too hot for carved pumpkins! He also carved a mini-pumpkin from his school trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Monroe. It looked like a jack-o-lantern. He also went to the Pumpkin Patch in Grady with Mrs. Pat and her grandaughters.

Crazy "Cracker"

This is Caleph's crazy dog "Cracker".
Caleph loves playing with her!

Ainsley's Birthday

We went to Ron and Ashley's new house in Houston, Arkansas

to celebrate their daughter's, Ainsley, birthday. They have a
beautiful new home. Ainsley enjoyed opening every one of her
presents! The kids had fun playing and Ashley's neighbor took them on a carriage ride.

Happy Birthday Kelsie

Happy Birthday
Kelsie!

Ainsley's Birthday Party

Caleph and I went to Ashley's house this past weekend to celebrate Ainsley's 2nd Birthday! She had a poodle cake that Ashley made, too cute! Ainsley loved opening her gifts. The kids played and had a big time. Their neighbors came over and took the kids on a carriage ride. We come back home Sunday. I'm still exhausted!

Gulf Shores Get-Away

We decided to go to Gulf Shores for Labor Day weekend. We left Thursday after school. Caleph was soo excited about going to the beach! Our condo was right on the beach and within walking distance of several places. On Friday, we caught several blue crabs and let Caleph play. We decided to eat lunch at Hooter's and Caleph fell in love! Dinner at the Oyster House. On Saturday, the waves had increased due to Hurricane Gustav. Caleph caught several jelly fish and Jeff caught a skate, pretty neat looking! Of course, Caleph and Jeff ate at Hooter's again for lunch...Caleph's idea. Dinner at Cosmo's and it was great. We stayed up past midnight catching sand crabs by flashlight. On Sunday, the double red flags were out and people were evacuating. We started packing the truck and Caleph was not happy, except he found a couple of pirates! We decided to eat lunch and get fuel before we braved the traffic. We finally found a store open to get a hermit crab and Caleph named it Gustav. The traffic was backed up from Foley to I10. We stopped in Pascagoula and the city had already turned the main water off and they had no fuel, ice or water. In Hattiesburg the gas station lines were packed. We stopped in Jackson to eat dinner at the Cracker Barrel. It was packed with evacuees and we were in there for about 2 1/2 hours. After making it home, I think we received the worst of Gustav's rain. Caleph is ready to go back to the beach!
